We are helping to bring paradigm-shifting projects into the world.

Existing narrative

Survival of the fittest & the good old free market.

A wilful misreading of Charles Darwin and Adam Smith—by aristocrats, capitalists, social darwinists, and fascists—defined the story of life as a struggle of the selfish where the strongest wins. These considerations shaped the narratives we believe in today. They have influenced the economic concepts upon which our society operates and have massively impacted the perceived role of man in relation to others, nature and mother earth.

These ideas are the story of the white man’s superiority to everything and everyone. Humanity has only been telling this story for a few minutes in a full day of its history, yet already they have led us to the brink of climate collapse. The magic wand of the white conqueror has become the economy, which to this day holds a destructive power over nature, our thinking and our ability to solve climate problems.

The economy has ceased to serve, it has begun to control, through the infinite arms of surveillance capitalism.

One story ends...

The energy of money is unfairly distributed in society.

The existing narrative, shaped by greed and the desire to control, holds enormous resources and so has massive reach. It manipulates our emotions and instincts, distorts our values, gives us false heroes and reshapes what we believe. It also makes us afraid of the new and cling to old, destructive patterns. We hesitate to believe that we are teachable, that we can reflect on mistakes and bring new workable solutions. We are told over and over again that we are selfish beasts who need sugar and a whip.

Alternatives to the system are not heard in the public space, or are attacked and devalued due to fear of change or large interest’s needs to defend their profit-making territory. Trust has become a tradable item and so people lose faith and look for easy solutions.

This makes the work of the authors of new systems and visions more difficult, and their efforts are complicated by the lack of money, without which they run out of energy and power.

We believe it is time to end this phase with respect.

... and one begins

And begin to help bring forth new life-sustaining principles for how to relate to humanity and life on Earth.

In the New Story, we believe that human society already has all the tools to solve the problems of the world today. What it lacks is a fresh story of hope, solidarity, mutuality and love. A story of new heroism, a regenerative and just economy, and a rediscovered relationship with nature and ourselves.

Because we believe in the power of stories and their transformative potential, we want the new one to give courage to try new ideas and concepts. That’s why we’ve come to tell it.

It’s time to change narratives because the existing ones have outlived their usefulness

We want a happy ending

We want to tell “kick ass” stories about new ways to solve existing problems, and in doing so, transform the trapped mindsets that prevent us from trying new systemic solutions.

We want to respectfully and humbly lull the dysfunctional to sleep and support the emerging stories of new possibilities. We want to use the power of story, to positively change narratives, values and heroism, to revive the forgotten story of love for the Earth and all life, with an awareness of natural interconnectedness.

We want a Happy Ending to be a basic right for everyone.
