By working with conscientious donors, we bring projects to life that show that new solutions already exist. Many of them already have fantastic results at a local or community level, but they can’t break through the thick wall of the Status Quo. That’s why:

New solidarity

1% for New Story is an awakening form of economic solidarity that is already emerging among conscientious donors. It is a contribution with a society-wide return. This is not only happening on a financial level, but is taking place by changing the narrative and driving systemic change.

It is a new form of investment, one that transcends us. Together we are planting metaphorical trees in whose shade generations after us will sit.

What the 1% for a new story is about

It is about conscientious collaboration between people who are united by a desire for a just and liveable wisdom. It is an incubator for new systemic solutions whose creators are struggling with a lack of money, communication skills and time. As a result, these important projects are created “on the knee” and have no reach.

Because these ideas often “challenge” the existing paradigm and are not designed to generate monetary profit, they do not attract investors. So they can’t afford a professional team to help the project be visible and viable. We want to change that.

A visionary is a person familiar with the differences between the old story and new, and know that trying new things with old tools doesn’t make sense. This person has a vision, an idea, or a project that offers new systemic possibilities and solutions in which both people and the planet can thrive.

A realizer is a person familiar with the differences between the old story and new, who is conscientious, knows that trying new things with old tools doesn’t make sense. He or she has the talent and skills to help implement and then tell the story of that solution.

An activator is a donor, a philanthropist, an enlightened investor who already knows that the current destructive system will not solve the new problems. He or she has enough money and understands that only by sharing and working together can we a chance, can we try new systemic solutions and thus give the new story a chance to work.

New Story is a platform that connects Visionaries and Implementers with Activators, while providing the necessary background and mentoring for project development.

How does it work?

The visionary has an idea and needs to get it out to the people or help to implement it.

The implementer and the visionary put together a clearly articulated project.

They fill out a form and articulate what and how much resources they need. They explain the different stages.

The Activator chooses which project or which part of the project they want to support.

Based on capacity, they contribute both time and money to “telling” the new story.

The Activator and the Visionary develop the project as agreed. With the support and resources of the Activator, they manage the project’s broader public awareness and implement changes.

Through collaboration and storytelling, a New Story is created. This is shared on all communication platforms and the principle of the new collaboration &[(currency)], its purpose and goal are explained.

Leaders and supporters of the new story

Among the people who want to actively support 1% for the New Story are prominent personalities who themselves have been representing the New Story for some time through their actions, projects and entrepreneurship. You may not know them from TV and mainstream media, but they are a growing community of people who recognise that we are not moving in a good direction as a society and that we need to start creating a new, resilient world based on kind values.
